1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using IdeaSorter.ai ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

IdeaSorter.ai is an AI-powered tool that helps users capture, evaluate, and rank startup ideas. The Service uses artificial intelligence to score ideas based on various metrics and provide rankings.

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must:

  • Create an account using Google or GitHub authentication
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent

4. User Content and Data Security

You retain full ownership of all ideas and content you submit to the Service. Your ideas are encrypted and stored securely. We only use your content for the purpose of providing the AI-powered scoring functionality. We do not share, sell, or use your ideas for any other purpose. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for providing the scoring and ranking features.

5. Credits, Payments, and Right of Withdrawal

The Service operates on a credit-based system. By purchasing credits, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are purchasing digital content that is supplied immediately.
  • Waiver of Right of Withdrawal (EU Users): By proceeding with the purchase, you expressly consent to the immediate supply of the digital content (credits) and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (Diritto di Recesso) once the supply has begun.
  • Credit purchases are generally non-refundable, except where required by law.
  • Unused credits do not expire.
  • We reserve the right to offer promotional or free credits at our sole discretion.

6. Invoices (Fattura)

When purchasing credits, you may optionally request an invoice:

  • Invoices are generated only upon explicit user request during checkout
  • If you request an invoice, we will collect and store the billing information you provide
  • This billing data is stored securely and used solely for generating invoices
  • Billing information is retained for the period required by law
  • You are responsible for providing accurate billing information

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purposes
  • Use the Service for purposes other than evaluating startup ideas
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Submit malicious content or spam
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

8. AI-Generated Scores and Limitations

The scores and evaluations are generated by Artificial Intelligence (LLMs) and are probabilistic in nature. They should be used for informational purposes only. IdeaSorter.ai does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or market viability of the scores. You should not make financial or business decisions based solely on these AI-generated outputs.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IdeaSorter.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill. The Service is provided "as is". We do not exclude liability for willful misconduct ('dolo') or gross negligence ('colpa grave') as required by Italian law. In all other cases, our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the last 12 months.

11. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Livorno (Foro di Livorno).
